Steph’s Professional Highlights

Steph became a Passionate PA in 2021 after a thoroughly enjoyable and varied career. She wanted an avenue to bring together all her skills and experience and a franchise with The Passionate PA offered just that. Steph is a business owner in her own right, with a solid support structure, allowing her to partner with ambitious business leaders to help them achieve momentum and results!

Prior to her decision to become a business owner, Steph enjoyed 20+ years with Sainsbury’s. Starting, literally, on the checkouts whilst at school, Steph was given the opportunity to develop and hone her customer service skills from a very early age.

In 2005 she became an HR Assistant and, whilst studying for a degree in Psychology and Computing, her passion for people was ignited.

2009 saw Steph become an HR Manager with generalist responsibilities covering a vast range of HR expertise including employee relations, recruitment management, talent management, policy management, performance management, coaching, absence, learning and development and reward.

Just four years later came a real career highlight with a promotion to HR Project Manager. This role had a unique focus of driving business performance and KPIs through colleague focussed projects and engagement. Steph had the opportunity of working with highly skilled and influential senior HR and Operations Managers to design, lead and deliver people focussed projects and solutions. This allowed her to build knowledge and business acumen as well as deliver project success that focussed on business strategy, KPIs and people targets. These are all skills she brings to her role as a Passionate PA every single day!

Steph’s last employed role was as a Change Manager for Sainsbury’s. For three years Steph worked tirelessly to help move the business through a period of large-scale transformation. She built a reputation as a credible and trusted advisor through her work on the end-to-end design, delivery and management of a wide variety of projects in partnership with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

All of this incredible experience has made Steph into a super business focused professional, with a dedication of doing what’s right for the people within a business. When Steph isn’t building a career to be proud of, she can be found enjoying family life with her husband and little boy. Often outdoors and appreciating the beauty of the Dorset coastline, Steph also loves interior design and getting creative, and a good gin and tonic!
